The formal qualities are really beautiful. Good job.
The concern is what is the statement at the "product" level? What is the continued dialog?
Postcard 2 should take the singular statement from the first round and make it more layered. Justin said "records are sinuous in a negative/positive way". Now, you need to complete the sentence by saying "and that is because...."
Think of the analogy of nail + wood + hammer = birdhouse. "A nail is great BECAUSE with a it (and show the other components) you can build a birdhouse." To bring the conversation to the next level you must add additional components to the mix.
Currently you've just made another nail, albeit a beautiful one.
