My color palette is pulled directly from the road. The red, yellow, gray and green are taken from streetlights, the street, and the blue is based on water, the city of fountains.
My logotype was all caps to create a linear line, fitting in with the linear nature of my logotype. This typeface was created and used in Germany for transit.
What I refined from last period was creating blocks, instead of lines to create my mark. In my previous mark was an ariel view of the congested transit lines in Kanas City. I used the divisions of districts in the Kansas City area to get the shapes but still used the transit bus lines as divisions. These pieces were then broken and reassembled in one block.
Above is a way that color and logotype can work together with the logo.
Below is also a way that the logo can break from the core logo and intermingle with the logotype.
This is what the logo looks like in the form of the ariel view and how it was changed, yet inspired by my past mark.
